Deborah has always had a passion for math and sciences. She has a BA in Mathematics and Education, and a BS in Meteorology and Geography. She is a Washington state certificated 6-9 mathematics teacher.

She has worked in STEM fields for nearly 2 decades, and has been teaching adults and children for over 20 years. As an Air Force officer she was a meteorologist forecasting weather for flying missions, Tropical weather forecasting, and she supported NASA as a Launch Officer for the Space Shuttle.

She has experience working with autistic children. She believes in the ability of all children to learn. She has patience and caring for all of her pupils. Nothing delights her more than seeing that light go on in your child’s mind.
